Parrot remembers every call it has finished. Ask it anything, like "What did I promise Acme?" or "What did Jeremy say about pricing in August?", and you get a short answer where every fact carries a small chip such as Acme renewal · 12:34. Click the chip and that meeting opens at that exact line, ready to play.
Ask Parrot in the sidebar, or press ⌘K anywhere. Inside a meeting, the Ask button in the toolbar asks about that one call, with a switch to widen it to all of them.
Every finished meeting's transcript and report is indexed on your Mac, with the same on-device language models the knowledge base uses. Searching never leaves the machine. To write the answer, Parrot hands the few best excerpts (not whole meetings, never audio) to the AI you set up for post-call reports. With a local model through Ollama, nothing leaves at all. The line at the bottom of the Ask window always says which is happening.
Every citation is checked the same way report receipts are: a chip only appears if someone really spoke at that moment of that meeting. With no AI set up, Ask still works. It shows the closest moments from your meetings instead of a written answer.
Meetings recorded on-device only are searched when the answer comes from a local model, and left out when it would come from a cloud one. The answer says so when that happens.
When your calendar is connected and a call starts with someone you've met before (same invitees, or the next meeting in a recurring series), the Copilot's Briefed card shows the open items from last time: next steps and promises from that meeting's report. The Copilot keeps them in mind and flags them when they come up. This is read straight from your own report, on your Mac, with no extra AI call.
